Hi, I’m Jessi…
I have been working as an artist since 2007, when I began my career as a fashion designer. My 20 year fashion journey started in surf apparel working for Roxy and led me to different areas within the industry including bridal, denim and eventually to swimwear at which point I ran my own line…After being a part of the hustle and bustle of fashion for so long, I was ready for something new.
I decided to use my graphic design skills and start a branding agency and absolutely loved it! Howerer, I was still missing the feeling of full artistic expression. I have always been one to learn new mediums and have taken classes in everything from ceramics to metal work to jewelry making. So by 2021 I was really ready to challenge myself into learning a complex new artistic skill.
My husband has been a Tattooer for 15 years and he had always wanted to teach me how to tattoo, I had tossed around the idea many times but it was a medium that I was honestly so intimidated by. I knew it would be a humbling journey to say the least! So in the Summer of ‘21 I decided to go for it and started my 2 1/2 year apprenticeship with Zack…and I am so grateful I took the leap. I have now been able to learn so much from him and am focusing my style and technique as I continue to grow as an artist.
Aside from tattooing, I create art pieces that are all available in my shop as prints and canvas works. My series are ever changing and limited but I am always open to collaborations!
XO, Jessi

I love creating artwork that celebrates the late 1800/early 1900 Art Nouveau movement. It speaks to my soul and I am inspired by the flowing elements of that era. It also was a revolutionary time in the world of art, when artists were ‘taking back’ their creative expression by turning down the traditional expectations of wealthy aristocrats. Art Nouveau artists began creating art in public spaces and buildings - not only adding beauty to their surroundings but allowing the people as a whole to enjoy art within every day life! It was a time of great change and it led to artists feeling free to create without boundaries once more.
